Sally's Story

I'm an outstanding volleyball substitute player. I joined the school volleyball's team with my trustworthy friend, Natasha who was sophisticated in it. We had been practising very pleasant for 2 years when the match started. Last week, however, something  happened which surprised every body, especially me.
Our school always has the volleyball tournament against the others schools. Five days ago, Natasha fell off while she was riding a bicycle to training and it makes that she broke her calf. Nevertheless, the doctor decided to have a plaster cast on her calf. Just this day, she received a letter of the school volleyball tournament when she went back to her home. It did she surprise, because the day after tomorrow she got one tournament against St. Edwards School which won the champion last year. At nine o'clock, when our level-headed coach knew that Natasha had broken her calf, he phoned me to substitute her position.
The day when the match started, I saw Natasha had sat in the public alongside our coach, with a worried look when the match was tied 22-22. Two minutes before to finish the match, we defensed hardly. When the match was tied 24-24, I was as fierce as an lion and slapped the ball with all of my left over energy. Just this moment, St.Erwards' team couldn't defense and it makes us won the champion finally.
At the end, I looked  Natasha with an incredible look. I kept the cup of the champion and we were joyful to be the first time champion in our history. However, this was the motive which did us decide to had dinner together in the restaurant.
