SYNTHESIS CREDIT:
This year the students of 4th ESO have done an investigation project about cinema. It consisted in learning basic cinema concepts, achieving audiovisual editing skills, learning advanced group management and filming a short video.
One month before the synthesis credit week started, we were taught how to recognize and interpret different types of shots while watching several films. We also learnt how to interpret and organize the script, as well as how to write both a literary and technical script, and draw the storyboard.
At the same time, we learnt how to edit videos, too. With the help of Miss Muñoz, the Arts & Craft teacher, we practiced the use of Adobe Premiere, a sophisticated software with which you can edit videos, add special effects, include sounds, and so on.
During the synthesis credit week, the organization of the groups was very important. That’s why we all had to adapt to the timetable and the hours that we had to film, answer the questions in the dossier that we were given, choose the settings to film and edit the video.

The credit was an exciting new activity, where we learnt and enjoy a lot.
