GAME OF THRONES
The last book I read was the first part of "Game Of Thrones", a best-seller fantasy book written by George R.R. Martin, who is a famous fantasy writer. The book was published in 1996 and became a successful series in 2011.
Each chapter is told by a different character. This gives to the book a very interesting point that brings mystery to the story. There are a lot of parallel connected stories and every character tells about a him or her with very different points of view. The story is set in an imaginary medieval country where different families want to control the kingdom.
I enjoyed very much this book because it is very original and really interesting because there are a lot of stories during the book and you never get bored. In the beginning it is a little bit complicated to follow the plot because there are a lot of characters and plenty of parallel stories, but when you get used to it, it is very interesting. The only defect I find to the book it is that it is quite long.
To sum up I would say that "Game Of Thrones" is, above all, a very original book,I had never read a book similar to this before. If you are into the fantasy genre and you do not mind reading a quite long, but a very good book, I totally recommend this book.
