Opinion essay.
Many students seem to have every day more and
more exams. The question we need to answer is whether exams are a good way of
measuring the knowledge of students’ or they are not. In my opinion, they are
not.
Firstly, students use to study for the exam
only the last day, so that they don’t remember anything after it. However, that
is a traditional way to test the student and it is difficult to change it. It
is also true, that may be the student has a bad day and he does not success in
his exam.
Secondly, students can cheat in exams. Nowadays,
the technology makes it easier for the student, and it is more difficult for
the teachers to realize that the student is copying in the exam. Furthermore,
there is other ways of measuring the students’ knowledge such as the oral exams
or works.
In conclusion, I think that an exam is not the
best way to measure the student’s knowledge. Besides, there are other ways that
teachers can use to it.
